Position Summary:

BlendSource, Inc. is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Bulk Puller Operator to support our production team by safely and accurately pulling and staging raw materials for batching. This role plays a critical part in maintaining production flow, inventory traceability, and food safety compliance within our warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pull raw materials based on batch tickets using FIFO and allergen protocols
  • Identify, label, and stage materials by lot number and internal product code
  • Operate pallet jacks and forklifts to move materials safely
  • Record bulk movements in ERP or inventory systems
  • Communicate material shortages or quality issues to the Pre-Weigh Supervisor
  • Maintain cleanliness of storage and staging areas
  • Palletize and load raw materials per shipping and safety guidelines
  • Follow all GMPs, food safety, and OSHA protocols

Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Ability to read batch tickets and identify materials accurately
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Effective verbal communication and ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Experience using warehouse software or handheld scanners preferred
  • Basic math and documentation skills
  • Familiarity with allergen handling and traceability is a plus

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 1–2 years of experience in warehouse or material handling (food or ingredients preferred)
  • Knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, and OSHA regulations is a plus
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift/move up to 55 lbs. with or without assistance
  • Regular standing, walking, bending, and use of material handling equipment
  • Ability to operate PITs (forklift, pallet jack) – training or certification provided
  • Exposure to warehouse conditions including fluctuating temperatures, dust, and noise
  • PPE and uniforms are provided

Material Handler – Warehouse Support
Location: Pottstown, PA | Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM | Pay: $20/hr.

Quality Assurance Technician – Pottstown, PA

Position Summary

The Quality Assurance Technician (QA Tech) plays a critical role in ensuring our products meet established quality standards and food safety requirements throughout the manufacturing process. This role performs hands-on inspections, testing, documentation, and cross-departmental communication to support safe, consistent, and high-quality production.

You will act as a quality control gatekeeper, identifying issues, proposing improvements, and upholding regulatory standards such as HACCP, BRC, and cGMPs.

What You Will Do

Quality & Food Safety Responsibilities

Inspect and test raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods using approved protocols.

Sample and verify incoming products.

Identify defects, deviations, or non-conformance issues and document findings clearly.

Place materials or finished goods on HOLD when necessary. *

Conduct sanitation, hygiene, GMP, swabbing, and pre-operational inspections. *

Perform organoleptic (sensory) testing and prepare/send samples to 3rd-party labs.

Approve raw materials, work-in-progress, or finished batches when applicable. *

Support continuous improvement and corrective/preventive action initiatives. *

Assist in investigations of customer complaints or product issues.

Maintain accurate inspection and testing records.

Promote a culture of food safety, quality, and continuous improvement. *

  • Denotes food safety responsibilities.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with Quality, Production, and leadership teams to resolve issues and maintain consistent standards.

Communicate clearly and professionally regarding quality concerns or process changes.

Backup Responsibilities

Serve as backup to the QA Technician – Exton for all related functions.

What You Bring

2+ years of experience in quality assurance within food manufacturing (required).

Working knowledge of HACCP, BRC, food safety regulations, and cGMPs.

Ability to perform lab testing and effectively use lab equipment.

Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and communicate quality issues.

Solid written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ERP or QMS experience preferred.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.

High School Diploma or GED required.

Food safety certifications (PCQI, HACCP, Food Defense) preferred.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Must wear PPE such as lab coat, gloves, ear plugs, and safety glasses.

Work Environment

Fast-paced manufacturing environment with noise exposure, repetitive motions, standing, and walking.

Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m., with occasional Fridays as needed.

Ingredient Preweigh Technician – Pottstown Facility

The Ingredient Preweigh Technician is responsible for the accurate and timely re-packaging of raw materials to support production batches. This role ensures materials are prepared and staged in accordance with production schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols. The position plays a critical role in inventory control, traceability, and supporting efficient production workflows.

Responsibilities/Skills/Abilities:

  • Correctly identify raw ingredients through internal product codes, descriptions, lot numbers, allergen classification, and storage requirements.
  • Weigh ingredients and correctly pack them according to work orders and food safety guidelines.
  • Complete batch tickets for every work order by performing basic math for pre-weigh amounts, recording pack size/weights and lot numbers.
  • Ensure all ingredient movements are accurately recorded in the inventory system (ERP).
  • Communicate any inventory shortages or discrepancies to the Pre-Weigh Supervisor.
  • Perform sanitation tasks as needed, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment, surfaces and workspaces, waste collection and disposal.
  • Adhere to strict GMP guidelines in the working area to maintain quality and safety of products.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to drive operational excellence.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Experience in food or ingredient manufacturing.
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations (add, subtract, multiply, divide, measure, and convert decimals).
  • Knowledge of OSHA requirements, GMPs, and food safety in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
  • Forklift and pallet jack operation experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Teams) and experience with ERP/MRP or manufacturing systems (SAP, SAGE, ORACLE, etc.).
  • Strong organizational and communication skills; bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
  • Experience and Education:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 4+ years in food or ingredient manufacturing preferred.
  • cGMP, FDA, and/or USDA experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Work performed in a warehouse/manufacturing environment.
  • Regular use of scales, calculators, batching equipment and other manufacturing tools.
  • Ability to stand, walk, handle materials, reach, and communicate for up to 10 hours per day.
  • Position requires the ability to lift and move up to 55 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Use of PPE (e.g., gloves, safety shoes, uniforms) required, training is provided.

Reports To: Pre-Weigh Supervisor

Supervisory responsibilities: None

Backup: TBD

Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 55 lbs regularly, with or without assistance.
    • Ability to push carts carrying up to 300 lbs of raw materials.
    • Frequently standing, walking, bending, and reaching in a warehouse environment.
    • Ability to operate PITs (pallet jacks, forklifts) is a plus.
    • Routine exposure to warehouse conditions including fluctuating temperatures, noise, and dust.
    • Use of PPE (e.g., gloves, safety shoes, uniforms) required, training is provided.
